Our Civic Hybrid was about $21,000 after taxes/fees. The Civic regular was only two or three grand less than the hybrid.

I think the Prius that you&#039;re thinking of is the one with all the extras. We got the &quot;base&quot; model. Oh, and my husband is still getting 55-65 mpg depending on the day.

What year and make was the Honda you got for $14,000? Did you buy it new or used? Knowing these things would make a comparison easier to make. Thanks!</description>

		<description>One thing you don&#039;t talk about is how much the Prius costs.  It could get 1000 miles a gallon, but at 29,000.00 new, it still costs twice as much over 10 years, as my new Honda I paid 14,000. for and gets 37 mpg.</description>
